E-Malt.com News article: Czech Republic: Plzeňský Prazdroj launches Gambrinus 11 Excellent

One in every four beers served in the Czech Republic is a Gambrinus by Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery. However, in a bid to further increase its market domination, the company has unveiled a slightly stronger, 11-degree version of its bestseller, titled Gambrinus 11 Excellent, Radio Praha communicated on November, 7.

The brewer says it is reacting to a shift away from the 10-degree beers which have for so long been so popular in the Czech Republic.

According to Gambrinus brand manager Jiří Rakosník, the new Gambrinus 11 Excellent is to basically set a new standard in the 11-degree sector.
