E-Malt.com News article: Germany: Germany decreases barley export in the first two months of 2008/2009

According to Germany’s Federal Statistical Office, the nation’s barley exports constituted 260 thousand tonnes during the first two months of the 2008/2009 marketing year, versus 442 thousand tonnes of barley exported during the same period last year, APK-Inform posted on October, 31.

The import of barley during the same period amounted to 160 thousand tonnes (313 thousand tonnes last year).
