Brewery news

Fraser & Neave (F&N), a Singapore beer-to-property conglomerate, said on Monday, June 30 that it will not appoint a new group chief executive but will instead have CEOs for each of its three business divisions, according to Reuters.

It named Koh Poh Tiong, who is CEO of Asia Pacific Breweries, the maker of Tiger Beer, head of its food and beverage business from Oct. 1. Asia Pacific Breweries is a joint venture between F&N and Heineken.

Lim Ee Seng will remain CEO of F&N's property arm while Ng Jui Sia will helm the firm's publishing and printing business.

Replacing Koh at Asia Pacific Breweries is Roland Pirmez, a Belgian, who runs Heineken Russia.

Koh, Lim and Ng will report to F&N's board of directors which is led by non-executive chairman Lee Hsien Yang, the former chief executive of Singapore Telecommunications and younger brother of Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
