Brewery news

Two weeks before the European Football Championship the prices for beer in the Austrian cities where the matches will be played increased, Romandie reported May 22. The football fans will pay more for a beer in Austria than in Switzerland (also a host country for EURO 2008).

The bars from Austrian eight cities will sell only the beer Feldschlösschen, controlled by Carlsberg and brewed in Rheinfelden. The transport to Austria and the logistic costs are the main cause of this increase.
