“The Belgian brewing force, Interbrew, is expected to lodge a complaint with French competition authorities this week over the control exerted on the French beer market by its competitors, Heineken and S&N-owned Kronenbourg,” according to a report in the French newspaper, Les Echos. Interbrew’s two main competitors control around 70% of the distribution in the French beer market, said the company "This is a question of our survival on the French market," said Patrice Thys, Interbrew general secretary.
