The Board of Directors of l'Association des brasseurs du Québec is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alain Madgin as Chief Executive Officer and spokesperson for l'Association des brasseurs du Québec, CNW reported October 30.

Alain Madgin has extensive experience in both public and governmental business environments. Among others, he worked within large pharmaceutical companies in functions related to governmental, political and strategic business. Drawing from his experience linked to public affairs, Mr. Madgin also acted as Consultant for a large Canadian firm. Alain Madgin is a member of The Quebec Bar, la Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP), the Canadian Public Relations Society and the Public Affairs Association of Canada.

Founded in 1943, l'Association des brasseurs du Québec (ABQ) represents its members, such as Labatt Breweries of Canada, Molson Canada and Sleeman Unibroue and promotes their interests with various government agencies and the media, which makes them THE reference for the brewing industry in Quebec.
