Brewery news

After 556 years of stagnation, the brewers from Czech town Stribro (Silver) will produce again “silver” beer, Russian Beer Union reported October 29. The beer can be tasted on the central place of the town in “U Rybcek” restaurant.

According to historians, the local brewer is one of the oldest in the country – monks of the silver town started to brew beer in 1192. The brewer plans to produce 1000 hl of beer every year. There will be 3 kinds of beer: Stribrnak, Argent and Duchmaus. The beer is sold without being filtered or pasteurized.
