Carlsberg's brewery based in Stavanger, Norway, named Tou Bryggeri, will most likely be the one that will go when Carlsberg restructures its Norwegian activities. According to the Dagens Næringsliv business daily, the brewery is located on a site which is worth some NOK 60-70m. The brewery in Arendal is also in jeopardy. It seems that Carlsberg will keep its plants in Trondheim and Oslo.

Ringnes Tou Brewery produces about 38.6 million litres of beer per year. Tou Beer is the local pride and the beer market leader in Rogaland.
