E-Malt.com News article: UK: Shepherd Neame lunched four specialty ales in selection box
Brewery news

Kent brewer Shepherd Neame has launched four of its most popular speciality ales in a selection box, the Kentish Ale Collection, the company released July 06.

Available in Waitrose, the Collection showcases 500ml bottles of Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale, Bishops Finger Kentish Strong Ale, Master Brew Kentish Ale and Whitstable Bay Organic Ale and has an RRP of £5.99.

The beers included are multi-award winners. Recent wins include Bishops Finger's silver award in the Daily Telegraph's Taste of Britain Awards 2006 and Whitstable Bay's silver medal in the Organic Beer category of the International Brewing Awards 2006.

Brand development manager Charlie Holland said: "We have responded to demand by offering with this collection which gives people the opportunity to appreciate the subtleties of the dry, hoppy style of Kentish ale. It is also attractively presented, so it makes an ideal gift."
