Axel Meermann, the chairman of the Munich brewery, Paulaner, has been sacked, German press reported. "Meermann's departure was reportedly precipitated by a row with Heineken, which owns just under half of Bayerische Brau Holding, which in turn owns Paulaner." However, Heineken did not give any comments on the reports.
