Harboes Bryggeri, the Danish brewer and soft drinks company, has reported a 4% rise of pre-tax profit for the first nine months of the 2002-2003 fiscal year up to DKr44.9m (EUR 6.0 million), against DKr43.3m (EUR 5.8 million) in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile the company has registered an operating profit of DKr53m (EUR 7.1 million) versus DKr52.7 million. Harboes’ turnover for the nine-month period rose from DKr1.1 billion to DKr1.2 billion (EUR 161.6 million).

The company’s forecast of pre-tax profit for the full 2002-2003 fiscal year is up to DKr55m (EUR 7.4 million).
