“The integration of several divisions of the New Zealand brewing group, DB Breweries, at its Otahuhu site had put DB in a strong position to reap benefits across all of its operations,” David Sadley, the chairman of the DB Breweries said at the company's recent Annual General Meeting.

The company posted positive tendencies for the 2002 fiscal year. Both the Montieth and Heineken brands recorded double-digit growth last year, managing director, Brian Blake, said. The Tui brand had achieved double-digit growth following its launch on the South Island, Blake added.

DB also gained the distribution of the Tiger brand during 2002.
