The high court of Venezuela has settled that Brahma, the Brazilian brewer, must change the label design of its light beer in Venezuela as it is too similar to its local competitor, Regional. Brahma was penalized US$100,000 by The Supreme Tribunal of Justice.

Brahma entered the Venezuelan beer market eight years ago and now holds around 30% of market share.
