E-Malt.com News article: Canada: Lakeport Brewing introduces new "Tallboy" cans exclusive to LCBO
Brewery news

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund announced on April 3 that its top selling brands, Lakeport Honey Lager and Lakeport Pilsener, are now available in the popular "tall boy" 473 ml can format. Lakeport Pilsener and Lakeport Honey Lager "tall boys" sell for $1.90 each (no deposit required) and will be available exclusively at the LCBO where the 473 ml can market is well developed.

"With summer around the corner, we are excited to offer beer consumers our two best selling brands in the popular "tall boy" format for just $1.90 a can," said George Croft, President. "The 473 ml "tall boy" can segment is very popular with LCBO shoppers. We have received numerous requests to make our brands available in that format," added Teresa Cascioli, Chair and Chief Executive Officer.

"This will give our loyal consumers another way to enjoy great tasting Lakeport beers at a fair price and will encourage trial from new consumers."

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund is an Ontario-based brewery focused on producing value-priced quality beer for the Ontario take-home market. Lakeport pioneered the "24 for $24" value segment. Lakeport produces nine proprietary beer brands, one of which, Lakeport Honey Lager, is one of the top selling brands in The Beer Store. Lakeport has over 170 full-time employees at its production facilities in Hamilton, Ontario. The Fund's units trade on the TSX under the symbol TFR.UN (TFR stands for 'two-four'). Certain statements included in this news release may be considered forward-looking.
