Dutch brewer Grolsch NV reported on February 19 a 5.1% rise in 2002 net profit and said it could not give a concrete outlook for the full year due to market uncertainties. Grolsch, maker of the distinctive flip-top bottled beer, said its net profit - or profit from ordinary operations after tax -- rose to 30.1 million euros in 2002 from 28.6 million in 2001. According to a Reuters' survey of seven analysts, Grolsch's 2002 net profit after tax was forecast at EUR 30.2 million.
