Adolph Coors Company (ACC) and its principal subsidiary, Coors Brewing Company (CBC), appointed on February 13, 2003 Charles M. Herington to their boards of directors. Herington, 43, brings more than 20 years of management, operations and marketing experience to Coors. Currently, he is president and chief executive officer of America Online Latin America, a Latin American Internet and interactive services provider.

Herington holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the Monterrey Superior Studies Institute in Mexico, one of the leading universities in Latin America. Herington fills a vacancy on the boards resulting from the retirement of Luis G. Nogales, president of Nogales Partners.

Founded in 1873, Coors Brewing Company is the third-largest U.S. brewer, the second-largest brewer in the United Kingdom, and the world's eighth-largest brewer. Adolph Coors Company stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol RKY.
