Having lost the battle on its infamous 'can ban', Denmark is continuing to put obstacles in the way of foreign brewers trying to export to the country. The latest addition is the recycling organisation Dansk Retursystem's claim that foreign beers display too small bar codes for the Danish system, a claim that has already put off several foreign brewers' efforts to break into the country of Carlsberg, Erhvervsbladet writes. Importers have dismissed the claim by proving that the Danish recycling machines easily can read the foreign bar codes.
