SABMiller has called in Nelson Mandela to disperse Miller executives' doubts about the South African Breweries' characteristics in connection with South Africa's apartheid past, the Financial Times writes. According to the paper, certain frowns in US boardrooms have met the advent of the South Africans, not least Norman Adami, the Johannesburg-based new executive of Miller named by SAB. This allegedly prompted Mr Adami to get the support from the former anti-apartheid leader.
