E-Malt.com News article: USA, OH: Buzzsaw Brewing Company to close for good at the end of November
Brewery news

Buzzsaw, the Whitehall craft brewery dedicated to Belgian beer styles, is planning to close its doors for good at the end of November, 614Now reported on October 4.

But the brewery isn’t going down without one last hurrah.

According to head brewer and owner Quinn Bartlett, one final farewell bash will be held next month at the Buzzsaw taproom, which is located at 951 Robinwood Ave. STE. B. An exact date for the event hasn’t been announced, but it’s currently slated for late November, just before the brewery closes.

Buzzsaw will post the time and date of the party to its social media pages soon. At the event, its Belgian-style IPA, Czech Pilsner and Vienna Lager will be offered. Other smaller-batch seasonal and pilot beers will be served at the taproom until supply is gone.

The Whitehall brewery opened as a production-only facility in early 2021, creating quality Belgian brews that were either kegged or packaged into cans and sold locally. In the summer of 2022, Buzzsaw added a taproom to its Robinwood Avenue space, complete with 15 taps and handmade live-edge wood tables.

There’s still plenty of time to patronize Buzzsaw, as it will operate normal taproom hours through November.

“It’s heartbreaking to close down a business that I have been passionate about since opening up in 2021. I feel that this is the right thing to do given the difficult circumstances that Buzzsaw has endured for quite some time,” Bartlett said. “I’m deeply grateful for all of the support we have had from our customers and the wonderful folks in the Columbus craft beer community. Ohio has become the greatest state to drink delicious beer, and I look forward to raising a few more glasses with you all. Cheers!”
