E-Malt.com News article: USA, CA: Carbon Nation Brewing opening in Riverside on September 29
Brewery news

A new brewery is opening in Riverside on Friday, Sept. 29, the Press Enterprise reported.

Carbon Nation Brewing is the third brewery to occupy the spot at 9860 Indiana Ave., Unit 19.

The brewery was originally home to Thompson Brewing Co. (see below), which moved to a larger facility nearby at 9900 Indiana Ave., Suite 7.

It was then operated until earlier this year by Route 30 Brewing Co., which currently owns two Riverside breweries (11620 Sterling Ave., Suite C, and 3740 Mission Inn Ave.) and is working on a Corona brewpub.

Like many Inland Empire breweries, Carbon Nation Brewing is a family affair. Co-owner Ted Younglove’s son Andrew is head brewer and his daughter Mary is handling marketing.

Beers expected to be on tap opening weekend include The Big Lebeerski, a Russian imperial stout; Baja Blasted, a Mexican lager with lime and salt; Dreamland Express, a toasted amber ale; and Hazy Nation, a New England India pale ale.

Hours this weekend are 3-10 p.m. Friday, and noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
