Russian Brewery Yarpivo, co-owned by the BBH group has reported a 33% increase of beer production for the first nine month of the year, if compared to the same period of the last year. Sales for the period reached 367 million litres of beer at a value of US$ 116 million.

According to a spokesman for Yarpivo, the company is carrying out a reconstruction of its capacities and improving its technological resources. The company has spent about US$19m improvements, including investments in its sales and logistics department and material warehouse.

In 2002 Yarpivo Brewery was 156 in a list of the top 200 largest Russian companies.
