E-Malt.com News article: USA, WI: The Brewing Projekt ready to welcome guests at its new home
Brewery news

One of Eau Claire’s craft breweries has been working hard renovating their home in the Cannery District. Now, The Brewing Projekt is welcoming you in for a pint, WQOW TV News 18 reported on May 15.

“One of the concepts behind the The Brewing Projekt is that it’s a project, so it’s always constantly on-going and potentially changing,” said Audrey Andrews, office manager for The Brewing Projekt.

It’s been nearly two years since The Brewing Projekt has moved into its new location at 1807 North Oxford Avenue.

“We started out in kind of a small, ramshackle sort of space, and kept getting bigger and bigger,” brewer Matt Jagow told News 18. “Knowing that this was our final destination to have this beautiful big space.”

A lot of renovation has gone on inside and out, to create a location for craft beer lovers to come together and enjoy the natural beauty of Eau Claire with a brew in hand.

“The goal is for it to be an event space and kind of destination space in Eau Claire, beyond just brewing,” said Andrews.

The combination taproom and brewery offers ample seating, along with space outside that offers a clear view of the Chippewa River.

“I feel like I’m a part of something we’re giving back to Eau Claire with our space and a locally made product that we’re creating, so I’m really proud,” added Andrews.

Those who’ve been a part of the progress told News 18 they’re ready to sip the suds of success.

“I didn’t really have any expectations coming into the job as to where this would go,” Jagow told News 18. “Starting out in a garage and ending up in an actual brewery, it’s amazing that this is how far we’ve come.”
