The Japanese brewer, Sapporo Breweries, is going to issue another “hopposhu” beer-like alcoholic beverage called "Brau Honsuguri" by mid-September.

The new brand will replace the company's existing happoshu "Fine Lager", which didn't have much success in selling. Moreover, company's rival Kirin Brewery, claims that the Fine Lager label resembles that of Kirin's leading brand "Lager Beer".

The prices of beer and "happoshu" beer-like beverage, with low content of malt, are expected to rise about Y4 per 350-milliliter can at Japanese retail stores.
