E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Britannia Brewing launched in Richmond in early August
Brewery news

A new brewery and affiliated seafood restaurant in Richmond, BC are just about to enter their second month of business, Canadian Beer News reported on August 29.

Founded by partners Kyle Brailean, Lloyd Kinney and Trystam Hayden, Britannia Brewing launched in early August, with a brewing facility at 110-12500 Horseshoe Way, and a restaurant at 12240 Second Ave. in the Steveston Village neighbourhood.

Currently, Britannia beers including Hop Blonde Ale (4.7% abv/22 IBU – “a refreshing ale with citrus and tropical fruit aromas and a subtle bitterness”) and XPA (5.6% abv/45 IBU – “west coast and Australian hops create a bigger than usual pale ale with a hop kick”) are available exclusively on draught at the restaurant, with cans and growlers expected to be available at the brewery in coming months.
