E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Skeleton Park Brewery launches its first beer in Kingston
Brewery news

A new brewing company named for an historic area of Kingston, Ontario has released its first beer at select bars and pubs in the city, Canadian Beer News reported on April 11.

Skeleton Park Brewery takes its name from a nickname for McBurney Park, a large park in downtown Kingston that was a burial ground in the 17th to 19th centuries.

Skeleton Park’s first brand is Amber 6.6, which is briefly described as “a well-balanced European-style amber. Full bodied with a complex malt profile. Finishing with a crisp hop bitterness & unfolding esters on the nose.”

The company is currently having its beer brewed under contract at Broadhead Brewing near Ottawa while working on attracting investors or partners to open a bricks-and-mortar location in Kingston.

Skeleton Park Amber 6.6 is on tap now Red House, The Brooklyn and Kingston Brewing Company, with more to come.
