E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: White Sails Brewing already open to public in Nanaimo
Brewery news

A new brewery with a name inspired by the sailboats often seen in the waters around Nanaimo is now open in that Vancouver Island city, Canadian Beer News reported on November 19.

White Sails Brewing was founded by Brad McCarthy and offers beer created by head brewer Tyler Papp, who has worked at several other breweries in the area, most recently Mt. Begbie Brewing.

Located at 125 Comox Road in Nanaimo, across from Maffeo Sutton Park, White Sails features a spacious taproom where visitors can sample a line-up of beers from the brewery, including Departure Bay Session Ale (4.6% abv, 25 IBU), Yellow Point Pale Ale (5.5% abv, 35 IBU) and Mount Benson IPA (7% abv, 60 IBU).
