A fierce price war is escalating in Japan. After important Japanese breweries such as Suntory, Sapporo, Asahi have diminished the prices for their happoshu brands , another brewery- Kirin has announced about his intent to reduce the price for its happoshu brand “Tanrei”.

According to the Kirin’s statement, from the 21st of June a 350 ml can of “Tanrei” will no longer cost Y145 but Y135.
