About three years ago a group of beer-loving businessmen hatched the plan to open a brewery in Cathlamet, Washington. Today, the dream has come to life. Drop Anchor Brewery is open for business, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd, Seattlepi.com reported on April 26.

The brewery is located about 25 miles west of Longview, overlooking the marina in the small town of Cathlamet.
