E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Central City opens a new brewery in Surrey
Brewery news

It’s been 10 years since Central City opened its brewpub in downtown Surrey, BC. Now, the brewery is set to expand.

On November 29, Central City Brewers debuted a new big facility, 65,000 square feet, according to Straight.com.

While the original location had a brewing capacity of 7,500 hL, the new location can produce 25,000 hL. In the next few years, the brewery hopes to increase production to 100,000 hL, and it comes equipped with bottling and canning lines.

The original Central City Brewpub and Restaurant will continue to operate in its present location. However, it will only produce small batches of craft beer. The majority of production will shift to the new facility.
