Marin Brewing Company has begun bottling and distributing a new beer, E.S. Chi Tonic Herbal Ale, Craftbeer.com reported on March, 1.

On the forefront of the micro brewing collaboration movement, it is brewed with a proprietary blend of wild Chinese herbs prepared by Master Herbalist Yen-Wei Choong, Lic. Acupuncturist., director of Yellow Emperor Natural Healing Center and Zen Garden: Chinese Healing Herbs in San Anselmo, CA. Dr. Choong, Marin Brewing Company owner Brendan Moylan and brewmaster Arne Johnson have worked together to create a beautiful, beneficial ale.

These herbs have been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years, known for boosting metabolism, energy level and for reducing weight gain, or “pumpkin belly.”

This latest release from Marin Brewing Company is now available in 22 oz bottles, 15.5 gallon sankey Kegs, 5 gallon sankey kegs and ½ gallon growlers.
