E-Malt.com News article: USA, OH: Government agrees to fund the expansion of Samuel Adams Brewery

The state has approved several local projects and agreed to partially fund an expansion of the Samuel Adams Brewery Company facility in Over-The-Rhine, Wlwt.com reported on December, 13.

Ohio will spend $663,000 to clear the way for an expansion of the brewery's operations on Poplar Street.

The money will cover costs for purchasing land, demolishing existing buildings and removing pollution from the site.

The brewery will use the expansion to increase its delivery operations, which the company said would add 11 new jobs and retain 10 existing positions.
