E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NS: Propeller Brewing brings back Revolution Russian Imperial Stout
Brewery news

Propeller Brewing has brought back popular winter seasonal Revolution Russian Imperial Stout for another year, Canadian Beer News reported on December, 6.

Propeller brews this unique ale true to its traditional roots; in the 18th century the English sent their brews via the Baltic Sea to the court of the Czars. To reduce the risk of spoilage Russian Imperial Stout was brewed to very high gravities and allowed to ferment on the long voyage. Propeller’s version weighs in at eight percent alcohol by volume.

Revolution Russian Imperial Stout was released last week at the brewery’s Prop Shop retail outlet, and will be available at NSLC outlets throughout Nova Scotia. It will also be distributed once again in British Columbia, where it will be available via private liquor stores
