E-Malt.com News article: Canada, AB: Sherbrooke Liquor & Paddock Wood release Silenus Belgian style tripel
Brewery news

Sherbrooke Liquor, the Edmonton store considered one of Canada’s best beer shops, has released the second installment in the “Beer Gods” series of seasonal beers, Canadian Beer News reported on November, 10.

Brewed for the store by Paddock Wood, the series is planned to feature 12 different brands released over the course of 3 years, with each beer named after a god or goddess of brewing from different historic cultures.

The latest in the series is Silenus, a Belgian-style tripel made with white wine juice, and named for the folkloric character who was a companion and tutor of the Greek wine god Dionysus.

Silenus is available now in bottles at Sherbrooke Liquor, and on tap at select locations.
