E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NB: New Brunswick beer price hikes in come into effect
Brewery news

Beer lovers in New Brunswick are now paying more for a case of their favourite suds, Telegraph Journal reported on July, 5th.

Price hikes reported last week came into effect at NB Liquor outlets on July, 4, kicking the price of local brands up C$1 more a dozen.

"This is a result of the expense reduction process ordered by government," said Gary von Richter, customer service manager for NB Liquor.

The price for single bottles of imported beers is also going up. For instance, a bottle of Corona is going from C$2.20 to C$2.33 a bottle. The price of Heineken is going from C$2.25 to C$2.35 a bottle.
