A new handling and storage facility in eastern Montana means more jobs for the area and a direct line for farmers to sell their high quality barley. Busch Agricultural Resources Incorporated is building the facility in Sydney. The ribbon will be cut on the 1.5 million bushel elevator on Tuesday. The facility will provide up to 7 full time jobs and load up to 150 unit trains each year. It will also handle up to 15 million bushels of high quality malting barley produced by Mon-Dak growers. The president of Busch Agricultural Resources says he is impressed with the area’s high quality barley products. He also says the new facility should result in greater efficiencies in the company's overall barley storage and handling operations.
