Heineken NV raised its net profit by 20% in 2000 compared to 1999. This rise has been boosted by such acquisitions as Slovakian Gemer and Spanish brewer Cruzcampo.
In Brazil, Heineken are going to increase its stake of 14% in Brazilian brewer Kaiser to mare than 50%.
