Russian beer production in 2000 has risen by 22% compared to 1999. 54.9 million hl were produced in 2000.
This increase is mainly attributed to such producers as Baltike, Otschakovo, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Krasny Vostok, Kasan and the Klin brewing combine.
