The ongoing talks about the restructuring of Carlsberg’s production in Norway now point towards survival for the city’s brewery E. C. Dahls, together with the Ringnes brewery in Oslo, while the units in Stavanger and Arendal will be shut down, according to the daily Adresseavisen report.

The Trondheim brewery has reported surprisingly good figures. The property is also believed to have a lower value than anticipated, since the commercial real estate market in Trondheim, Norway’s second largest city, is ice cold. These two factors point toward keeping the Trondheim unit going.
