Goat Patch Brewing Company will hold a ribbon-cutting on Friday, Jan. 9 to open its new Monument location after acquiring Pikes Peak Brewing Company in 2024, Fox21 News Colorado reported on January 7.
After serving the Monument community for over 13 years, Chris and Judi Wright, the founders of Pikes Peak, decided to retire from the brewing industry. In November 2024, Goat Patch announced it would be acquiring the Monument location on Lake Woodmoor Drive.
According to Goat Patch, since acquiring the assets of Pikes Peak Brewing in December of 2024, Goat Patch has heavily invested in the Monument facility— upgrading equipment, modernizing the brewing system, and restoring the foundation for future growth.
“Moving forward as Goat Patch – Monument allows us to focus all resources on one unified brand with consistent standards and vision,” said Goat Patch Co-Owner Cate Baze.
The Monument location joins two others in the Colorado Springs area–the flagship location on Cascade Avenue off Fillmore Street and the Northgate location on Voyager Parkway.
The ribbon cutting will be held on Friday, January 9 at 5 p.m. with live music by Rafiel & the Roomshakers to follow from 6 to 8 p.m.
