E-Malt.com News article: Canada & USA: Hop City Brewing expands distribution of the Barking Squirrel Lager

Hop City Brewing announced on October, 1 that distribution of its flagship Barking Squirrel Lager is being expanded considerably, with the brand set to be available in 7 provinces outside of its Ontario home base, as well as 6 states in the US.

Launched in 2009 as an independently operated subsidiary of Moosehead Breweries, Hop City has four brands available on draught in the Ontario market, and Barking Squirrel in cans in the LCBO.

The expanded distribution will have Barking Squirrel available in cans and/or bottles as well as on draught in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick in Canada, and Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Minnesota south of the border.

The beer is available in some of these new regions already, with the roll-out continuing throughout the fall.
