Guinness Nigeria plc has deepened competition in Nigeria’s beer market with the re-introduction of Dubic Lager Beer, Business Day Online reported on April, 6.

Dubic Lager Beer was a popular brand in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State and the entire Southeast region, before it shut down production in 1998.

The brewery was later acquired by Guinness Nigeria plc in 2003, which produced different brands of Guinness products, before it was also shut down.

However, the reactivation of the factory and re-introduction of Dubic Lager Beer by Guinness Nigeria plc has aroused a lot of interest from beer consumers in the area, it is reported.
