E-Malt.com News article: The Netherlands & USA: HEINEKEN successfully prices US$750 mln of 10-year Senior Notes
Brewery news

HEINEKEN N.V. announced on March, 29 that it has successfully priced 10-year Senior Notes for a principal amount of US$ 750 million with a coupon of 3.40%.

The Notes will be issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933. With this transaction, HEINEKEN has taken advantage of the strong current credit market conditions and benefited from the solid investment grade Baa1 and BBB+ ratings recently assigned to the company by Moody's Investor Service and Standard & Poor's, respectively.

Following the successful issuance of EUR 1.35 billion of Euro Notes on 12 March, the U.S. Notes priced this week further improve HEINEKEN's debt maturity profile and enhance the diversification of its funding sources. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include the retirement or redemption of other debt.
