Baltika, the leader of the Russian beer market, transported the first beer consignment to Italy at the end of April, according to the media, May 5. Italy has become the 47th export market for the company. Among the beer brands supplied to Italy are Baltika, Nevskoye and Yarpivo.

According to Baltika press-center, the Italian beer market is of strategic importance for the company. The percentage of foreign beer brands has been consistently increasing for the last ten years, while beer per head consumption within 2004-2006 periods grew 76%.
