The Croatia’s beer maker, Karlovacka Pivovara, has posted a net profit of CK26.03m (€3.5m) for 2002, versus a net profit of CK32.3m €4.3 million in 2001. In April this year, Heineken acquired a 68.8% stake in Karlovacka Pivovara from the Lucsic family for CK82.6m (US$97.6m).
