Urban Chestnut Brewing Company (UCBC) announced it has acquired O’Fallon Brewery’s beer brands to produce at UCBC breweries and distribute through its network for customers to enjoy once again. O’Fallon Brewery stopped brewing beer and permanently closed in 2024. But starting in August, fans will be able to purchase O’Fallon Brewery favorites at UCBC’s Midtown Biergarten and Grove Bierhall locations, its network of restaurants and bars where UCBC products are featured as well as at retail, The Brewer Magazine reported on July 2.
O’Fallon Brewery was known for its seasonal beer offerings, including its popular varieties of locally-brewed Pumpkin Beer. UCBC brings back O’Fallon’s Pumpkin Beer as one of the first in a series of seasonal fan-favorite offerings available alongside UCBC’s award-winning lineup of artisanal, modern and classically-crafted beers. Fans will see the familiar eye-catching O’Fallon Brewery Pumpkin Beer packaging they’ve come to know and love on tap and at retail. Additional seasonal varieties will be available later in the fall and beyond.
“We’re excited to get O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer back on the shelf. It was one of the first seasonal pumpkin beers available in the region years ago, and we’re bringing back this fan favorite in time for fall,” said Brian Travers, chairman of Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. “Expanding our brewing and distribution capabilities is part of our long-term plan to be a leader in the future of American breweries. By taking on brewing, production and distribution of these brands and offering them both in our Midtown and Grove locations as well as at retail, we’re offering new experiences for customers and even more reasons to visit.”
UCBC recently announced an influx of refurbishments and renovations to its brewery locations, from expanded production equipment to enhancements in the overall customer experience with new furniture and media. These major investments also include enhanced efforts to support wholesale and retail partners throughout the region.
“We’re committed to our wholesale and retail partners as well as our fans,” said Travers. “We’re executing our vision to innovate the brewing industry by creating products people love and making it as easy as possible to find those products and enjoy them.”
