Norwegian brewery, Ringnes AS, a Carlsberg's subsidiary, has extended the deadline for its decision on which of the four breweries in the country it will have to close, from May 1 to a yet unknown date, Stavanger Aftenblad posted. The company says it is currently working on seven different scenarios where one, two, or even three of its breweries would be closed. The only plant that is not threatened is the Ringnes brewery in Oslo, whereas the future for the Tou, Arendal, and Dahls breweries remains uncertain.
