E-Malt.com News article: USA: Latrobe Brewing Co. will begin importing and canning Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light beer

Latrobe Brewing Co., a division of InBev USA, intends to begin importing and canning Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light beer later this month, Associated Press communicated on May 6.

It marks the first time a beer other than Rolling Rock brand and related family brands have been packaged at the brewery. During the seven-week project, Latrobe will can an estimated 800,000 cases of Labatt Blue and the light beer, divided into 12-, 18- and 24-can packs.

Latrobe Brewing is a division of InBev USA, of Norwalk, Conn. The brewery produces Rolling Rock beer brand.
