Spain: The greenfield brewery of Cruzcampo, Seville/Spain will get a brewhouse from Huppmann, the company announced on January 28. Officially called "Jumbo project" because of its size, this completely new installation will be another milestone for The Huppmann Group in the delivery of brewery equipment in Europe.

Two 40t/h Millstars, two Lauterstars and two dynamic low-pressure boiling systems will provide the necessary flexibility and wort quality. At a cast out volume of 1130 hl the two-stream brewhouse with capacity for 20 brews per day is designed for an initial capacity of 3 Mio hl per year, easily expandable to 6 Mio hl.

Huppmann delivers the new brewhouse and raw material handling including malt silos in a joint project with GEA Tuchenhagen, Büchen. The consortium will provide the complete process equipment from malt intake to filtration including yeast handling. The overall process automation and data handling will be brewmaxx provided by Proleit, Herzogenaurach.
