United Kingdom: The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is to hold a charity beer tasting event to support the victims of the tsunami. Roger Protz, drinks writer and editor of the Good Beer Guide will attend the event to be held at CAMRA’s St Albans headquarters on February 8.

"The event is suitable for both the novice as well as experienced beer enthusiast, both male and female, young and old. On the evening we will explore the tremendous variety of beers brewed in Britain, covering such diverse tastes from dark milds to strong pale ales," said Mr Protz.

"Every penny we raise will go direct to the appeal fund, as we have asked breweries from around the UK to donate beer to support the event. We would urge people, even if they have donated before, to come along to what I promise will be a fun evening."
