Belgium: InBev chief executive John Brock is targeting the global brewer crown currently held by Anheuser-Busch, The Publican posted on October 21. The merger of Interbrew with AmBev of South America means the renamed InBev is the world’s biggest brewer by volume, but Anheuser-Busch, owner of the Budweiser and Michelob brands, is bigger in sales terms.

Stella Artois owner InBev says that by leveraging its expanded range of premium beers in key markets it can increase market share and margins and secure the number one slot.
